The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be streamed live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants met personally to publicize next month's boxing match.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of the sport's largest financial successes, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently in the works for two years from now.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary stare-down, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is truly happening.
